I’m a cinematographer/director of photography located in the West Midlands that works throughout the UK & Worldwide, I have been working in the television, film & video industry for almost 18 years, shooting promos, music videos, documentaries & indie narratives.

Since leaving university with a BA Hons 2.1 in Digital Media, I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing clients in order to help them achieve their vision, clients include, Sony Pictures Online, Vertigo Films, Jaguar, GoPro, BBC, TEDx, Horse & Country TV, The National Lottery, Ben & Jerry’s & TikTok to name a few.

Since going freelance almost 18 years ago my background has been very varied within the filmmaking industry, this has given me insight into the entire production process and without a doubt having this knowledge makes me a better cinematographer and image-maker.

I have a passion for crafting beautiful images which add to the atmosphere and aid the storytelling process, whilst enjoying the technical aspect of filmmaking I also understand that light is the most important tool we have to create mood as well as beautiful imagery and I am constantly taking inspiration from all around me and actively learning how to use light in more creative ways.

I own a wide variety of production equipment but I am equally comfortable shooting on a wide range of cameras, including Arri Alexa's, Panavision & Red Digital Cinema Cameras.

In the coming year, I am actively seeking to work on more craft-based projects and work with bigger crews, I pride myself on being personable and being able to work calmly under pressure in order to achieve the director's vision and projects goals.
